FLORINA THROUGH TO FINAL 16

Florina faced bottom side Africa Allstars from Saturday Premier A at Underdown Park in the Bianco Amateur League Challenge Cup. Florina rested most of their players for this fixture as the following week they would be playing in a top of the table clash with Elizabeth Downs. All the action was in the first half on a very wet day where Florina took the early lead. Africa Allstars fought themselves back into the game with an equaliser but only to see Florina take back the lead again 2 - 1. The second half Florina missed quite a few oppurtunites in the wet and if not for the Africa Allstars keeper Florina could of buried the game.
